B.S.P.S. Area 1A.
Dear Area Members,
As I go into my second year as Area Chairperson I once again feel as though as an area we have had a very successful year which would not have been possible without the excellent committee running events often behind the scenes and with little thanks. This past year we have run 3 novice shows, 4 open shows, Young Judges training, set up a Young Persons’ Committee, a fun day, the AGM, flat and jumping instructional courses, the wonderful Valentine’s Ball, and last but definitely not least the fantastic Points Party! Not only does that sound a lot of events it is a lot of events and as ever we are seeking new committee members to support the running of the area so if you have some time to spare please consider joining us, our meetings are social as well as practical! We are not however resting on our laurels and this year for the first time are running an extra winter show and a points series to go along side them. We also have plans for a Tiny Tots show to be run in the summer holidays.
I do hope that as area members you will support our AGM on the 7thth November at the Angel of the North Pub , this is your opportunity to discuss any concerns or make any suggestions as to how the area might be improved . You may have noticed that the format of the meeting has changed slightly as we are now a Limited Company however we would still welcome any new area members onto the committee and if you are interested please contact any committee member prior to the AGM , I look forward to seeing you there.
