North East Counties Show
We are pleased to announce that this show is able to go back to it’s normal time of year and will be held at Scorton on April 28th 2012
Valentines Ball
The Valentines Ball is to be held again this year at Ramside Hall Co Durham on the 11th of February. The tickets are priced at £35 and as those of you who have been before know this is a great night so come along to support the area , the time is 7 for 7.30 pm. Please let Alison 0191 4155257 0r Katy 0191 4153827 know a.s.a.p if you want tickets or see them on Sunday at the show at Richmond.
You do not need to have a full table of 10 to come to the ball and we would love to see you there.
There will be an auction of some fantastic prizes including A day’s shooting for two people, 2 Manchester United tickets, 2 Sunderland v QPR tickets with hospitality, A Kite surfing lesson for 2, 2 large bales of haylage, a hamper of meat, a cake decorated for any occasion. If you are not coming to the ball but would like to bid for any of the above items please contact Alison or Katy to leave a bid.
Instructional Course
We are running an instructional course on Saturday 18th of February at Lea Close Equestrian Centre Bishopton with Sarah Emmerson instructing. We thought this would be a great opportunity to get people out over half-term before the last novice show at the weekend.
This year we have decided to subsidise a lesson on each course for any area member who attends one or both of the courses to the sum of £10 .
These courses are totally non profit making so prices will be advised nearer the time.

We are also running another Flat/WHP joint course at the Gubeon Centre Morpeth Northumberland on Saturday 24th of March with Matthew Lawrence Flat and Anthony Perkins WHP so it will be possible to have both a flat and a jumping lesson the same day. All courses are open to members and non- members and will be filled on a first come first served basis
Area Jackets and Hoodies
We will be putting an order form on the website for jackets and hoodies , it will be possible to have names added to these , please check the website for details.
